How to use SongChute · Part 9 of 10

Print a stage set list you can read from the floor

October 17, 2026 · 1 min read

Even with every chart on a tablet, there's a place for paper: taped to the monitor wedge, on the drum riser, handed to the sound tech. SongChute prints set lists made for the stage.

Print a gig

Open the gig and click Print set list. You get a print preview with:

  • Song names only, in big, bold capitals.
  • One set per page, with the set name at the top.
  • Text sized to fit: a short set gets bigger names, a long set still fits on one page.
  • A note after a set if a break follows.

Choose Print to send it to your printer or save it as a PDF.

Choose what's on the page

Above the preview are a few switches:

  • Numbers: number the songs.
  • Artists: add the artist beside each song in smaller type.
  • Keys: add each song's key, handy for the band but not the sound tech.
  • One set per page: untick to fit everything on fewer pages.

Your choices are remembered on that device for next time.

Print a single set list

On the Set Lists page, every card has a Print button, perfect for the regular sets you keep in your case.

Who needs which version

  • Drummer and bass: names, numbers and keys.
  • Singer: names only, as big as possible.
  • Sound tech: names and numbers, so cue changes line up.
  • Wedding coordinator: names and artists, so they can check the special songs are in.

In the final part, Part 10, we put it all together with a real Saturday night, from Monday's set list to last call.
